The Rural Service Centre

The Rural Service Centre was founded in 1952 by local farming families to provide veterinary services for Golden Bay. The Country Store opened a few years later with the aim of providing Golden Bay Farmers with the supplies and advice they need to grow their business. The Rural Service Centre is now modern Vet Clinic and Retail Store complete with a small Garden Centre to service the needs of all Golden Bay residents.

Our Country Store is located in the Takaka Township. We stock a wide range of dairy equipment, chemicals, gardening supplies, animal foods, clothing and gifts. If you are new to the area come and have a chat with us to see how we can help your business or garden grow!
